Trevor and Lin King
This very challenging portrait was commissioned as a kind of wedding portrait. Even though four years after the event, Lin said she always intended to commission a special picture of them to commemorate their special day, and I am very honoured to have been chosen to do it. When I say challenging, I mean from a big hair, beard and striped shirt perspective. That said though, the same principle applies as with everything I produce, if I can see it I can draw it, and it was the quality of the photographs from which I drew this that was the difference between me being able to produce this accurate visual representation of Lin and Trevor and something resembling either Pinky and Perky or Ant and Dec.
