Connie and Grace. This portrait was given as a gift to the parents of these two delightful little girls, and it was as I revealed it that I received probably the best response to one of my drawings that I can ever remember, and it was from these very girls. The impromptu gasps, the looks of amazement and the pure innocence of the comments made it worthwhile just for that few moments. They then handed it to their mother and proceeded to jump all over me and give me the usual beating of my life, which of course they regarded as much more fun than looking at pictures of themselves.
