John McGough. This portrait was commissioned by John to commemorate the capture of this stunning barbel from the Hampshire Avon. The quality of contrast, sharpness and detail in the original photographs lent themselves very well to the production of this drawing. After all, I can only draw what I see and the more I can see, the more accurately I can draw; well, that’s the theory anyway.
